Tottenham Hotspur Finally Terminates Ndombele’s Contract

Tottenham Hotspur have finally decided to terminate the contract of Tanguy Ndombele, marking the end of a tenure widely considered one of the most disappointing in Premier League history.

Back in 2019, Tottenham Hotspur used an initial £55.45 million to acquire promising French midfielder Ndombele from Lyon, a fee that could have escalated to around £64 million with add-ons.

Unfortunately, Tanguy Ndombele never managed to live up to his hefty price tag during his time in North London.

The news was reported on the social media handles of Tottenham in a post that reads: “The Club can confirm the departure of Tanguy Ndombele following the mutual termination of his contract, effective from 30 June, upon the conclusion of his current loan spell.”

“During his time here, Tanguy had loan spells back at Lyon, Napoli and with Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray last season.We will like to wish Tanguy all the best for the future.”
