Anthony Lewis Bellew, popularly known as Tony Bellew, is an English former professional boxer. He was born on November 30th, 1982, and has since retired from sports.

Between 2016 and 2017, Bellew held the WBC cruiserweight title, and in 2018, he competed for the undisputed cruiserweight belt. He had a strong amateur career before turning professional, winning the ABA heavyweight title three times.
Bellew began his boxing career at the Rotunda ABC in Liverpool, where he won novice ABA crowns in 2002 and 2003 by knocking out all but one opponent.

When he became eligible for the senior championships, he shifted to heavyweight and won more titles. However, he was defeated by Danny Price in 2006.

Bellew made his professional debut in 2007, defeating Jamie Ambler in the second round via TKO. He kept winning against opponents like Adam Wilcox and Wayne Brooks.
Bellew added to his record in 2008 by defeating Paul Bonson, Ayitey Powers, Hastings Rasani, Jevgijs Andrejevs, and Phil Goodwin.
In 2009, he defeated Matthew Ellis, Nick Okoth, Jindrich Velecky, and Martial Bella Oleme to improve his record to 12-0.
