Tolon MP Covers GH¢600K in Fees for 500 Tertiary Students

Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Tolon Constituency and First Deputy Majority Chief Whip of Ghana’s Parliament, has provided a significant boost to education in his area.

He recently paid school fees totaling GH¢600,000 for 500 bright but financially disadvantaged tertiary students for the 2023/2024 academic year.

This generous support is part of the Soyalana Educational and Endowment Fund, a program initiated by Alhaji Habib Iddrisu to assist brilliant yet needy students in the Tolon constituency.

Over a thousand students have already benefited from this initiative.

Speaking at a ceremony in the constituency, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu emphasized the importance of the fund in bridging the gap between the wealthy and the less fortunate in the community.
