Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Arden Key’s six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy has been overturned, ESPN reported on Saturday, August 17 2024.

The suspension, initially announced on July 30, led the Titans to keep Key in the starting lineup and refrain from signing additional outside linebackers.
Titans general manager Ran Carthon chose to wait for the league’s decision rather than make a move.
Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons confirmed Key’s appeal victory on X, saying, “See you guys Sept 8.”

Key, who had six sacks last season, the third-most on the team, did not play in the Titans’ 16-15 preseason win over the Seahawks.
Titans coach Brian Callahan declined to comment on the suspension’s reversal, stating that the appeal process remains with the league.
Key, in his seventh NFL season, signed a three-year, $21 million contract with the Titans in March 2023.
