Timothy Spall’s Wife: Meet Shane Spall
Timothy Spall and Shane Baker first met after she accepted an invitation from a mutual friend to see him perform in a play in London. He captivated her right away. Shane was 27 years old at the time, but she is now 58. Surprisingly, they got married three months after they first met.
The following 15 years were spent raising Pascale, Shane’s four-year-old daughter, who Timothy had legally adopted, and finding happiness in their marriage. Rafe and Sadie, who are now in their 20s, are the names of the couple’s other two children.
He was simultaneously developing a great career as one of Britain’s best and most adored actors as Shane and Timothy raised their family. His career got off to a good start with his part in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet.
He then had major roles in Nicholas Nickleby and the Harry Potter films. Shane later continued her education at London’s Goldsmith’s College while devoting herself to being a full-time mother.
Their lives, however, took a tragic turn in 1996 when Timothy was unexpectedly diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia. The grim diagnosis from the doctors indicated that he just had a few days to live.
