Thiago Motta has long admired Retegui and now wants to bring the 25-year-old striker to the Allianz Stadium.
According to a report on Tuttojuve, Motta has requested Juventus to include Retegui in his squad as a replacement for the outgoing Moise Kean.
While Dusan Vlahovic remains the primary striker, Thiago Motta is confident that Retegui can be an effective deputy.
Mateo Retegui’s goal tally last season was modest and he will enhance the attacking options of Juventus.
