In an exclusive interview with the New York Times, Tems offered insights into her experience collaborating with Beyoncé on the Grammy-nominated album “Reinassance,” recounting the moment she was first approached by her team regarding the collaboration.
“My team just messaged me like, ‘Yo, first of all, I have to send you something to sign.’ I was losing my mind. Like, What?!” Tems shared with New York Times’ Culture Reporter Reggie Ugwu, reflecting on her initial reaction to the monumental opportunity.

The revelation came as Tems delved into the intricacies of the collaboration process, highlighting the stringent confidentiality measures imposed on her by way of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
