According to Mahama, this money is public funds that politicians are distributing during their campaigns, so citizens should feel free to take and use it.
Mahama emphasized that while politicians often hand out money during election periods, their true aim is not to improve people’s lives.
He advised voters to use this money but choose a party that genuinely aims to make a positive impact on their lives and future generations.

He also criticized politicians for abandoning important projects like the Garu hospital.

Mahama revealed that while the project was left incomplete, the materials meant for construction were stolen. He lamented that even if the construction was halted, the stolen materials could have been used by future governments to continue the project.
A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahama has continued to play a significant role in Ghanaian politics.
Known for his communication skills and relatable approach, Mahama remains an influential figure in Ghanaian politics, often speaking out on national issues and providing critiques of current governance.
