Ghanaian rapper Strongman has taken a jab at men who borrow money to get married, sparking a lively discussion on social media.

The ‘Last Verse’ hitmaker made his point clear while reacting to a tweet by football star Cristiano Ronaldo about his family, captioned “My Life.”

Strongman quoted the tweet with a sharp remark: “Ronaldo nware yet nso Kojo ak)gye Bosia de k) ware on Saturday,” which translates to “Ronaldo is not yet married but Kojo has taken a loan to get married on Saturday.”

This statement highlights a stark contrast between the football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, who despite having five children with his longtime partner Georgina Rodriguez, has not yet tied the knot, and ‘Kojo’, who is seeking loans to fund a wedding.

Strongman, renowned for his lyrical prowess and candidness, did not mince words in expressing his disdain for the practice of borrowing money to get married. His comment has ignited a wave of reactions from fans and followers. While some support his stance, agreeing that financial stability should precede marriage, others believe that personal choices should not be subject to public ridicule.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have been in a relationship since 2017, after meeting at the Gucci store where Rodriguez once worked. The couple frequently shares their love for one another and their family life on social media, painting a picture of a happy and supportive partnership.

Ronaldo, despite his superstar status, has yet to formalize his relationship with Rodriguez through marriage. However, this has not stopped them from building a loving home together, sharing five children and supporting each other’s endeavors.
