Stonebwoy, a two-time winner of the Artiste of the Year award, has expressed his gratitude to his fans for their support after winning the prestigious award on Saturday, June 1.

The Reggae Dancehall artiste took to social media on June 2 to thank his fans, saying the award reflects his hard work and efforts.
Before the awards, fans debated who should win, with strong arguments between supporters of Stonebwoy and King Promise.
In his tweet, Stonebwoy highlighted that the award is proof of his dedication and a reflection of the hard work many can relate to.
He emphasized that his victory is a testament to his journey and a symbol for those who see their struggles mirrored in his.
“Those who debate on my behalf, our actions speak loudly. For those who believe my efforts represent their own stories, this award is proof that you are winners too,” he wrote.

He also mentioned that the award showcases his exceptional talent and urged others to find inspiration in his achievement.
“This award is proof that I am one of the greatest talents to emerge from Africa. If this inspires others, it is because there are others who inspire me too. To God be the glory,” Stonebwoy added.
Stonebwoy’s win at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards marks his second Artiste of the Year award, his first being in 2015.
Competing against Sarkodie, Black Sherif, Kuami Eugene, King Promise, and Nacee, Stonebwoy’s achievements this year have been significant, as he also won five other awards.
He took home the awards for International Collaboration of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album/EP of the Year, making him the most decorated artist of the night.
