In his club career, Raskopoulos began by showcasing his talent at Earlwood Wanderers in his youth days before making a significant move to the Sydney Olympics for the inaugural season of the National Soccer League in 1977. His time at the Sydney Olympics marked the beginning of a distinguished journey in Australian football.

International Career:

Raskopoulos’s prowess extended to the international stage, where he made a lasting impact. He made his debut for Australia in a B-International match during the 1980 OFC Nations Cup. His full international debut came in August 1981 against Indonesia in Jakarta, where he captained the team. Throughout his international career, which spanned from 1980 to 1987, Raskopoulos represented Australia in 14 matches, leading the team as captain on two occasions.
