In 2015 saw the marriage of Shamima Begum and the Dutchman, who was 23 at the time. Three of the couple’s children passed away.

In a prison interview, Shamima Begun’s jihadi husband declined to denounce the beheadings or usage of sex slaves by ISIS. Yago Riedijk, 29, said that he and Begum, whom he married in 2015, days after she arrived in Syria at the age of 15 from east London, had “wonderful memories.”

Reidijk is reportedly currently detained in a Syrian jail under Kurdish control. Alan Duncan, an ex-squaddie who eventually located him, told the Daily Record that he had encountered Riedijk in an unnamed “intelligence centre.”
It is unknown where he is right now.
Parents
Riedijk was raised in a “beautiful” middle-class household, according to his neighbours in Arnhem, before he converted to Islam and joined Isis.
Interview
Riedijk was wounded while engaged in combat with the Kurdish forces that are presently holding him in the deadly battle for Kobane at the end of 2014.
In a previous interview from last year, he stated, “‘I don’t know how to describe it. Loads and loads of Islamic State fighters died there.’
He stated that some of the Saif al-Dawla (Sword of ISIS) members of his ISIS brigade who refused to leave were imprisoned.
