Sexion d’Assaut is a French hip hop band formed in the year 2002 and it consists of 8 Parisian rappers. The group was formerly known as 3eme Prototype. Sexion d’Assaut is signed on to independent record label Wati B which is under exclusive license to Sony Music Entertainment Music.  The group has couched a niche for itself by distinguishing itself from the “bling-bling” music that other French rappers do. Sexion d’Assaut became famous when they released their debut studio album “L’ecole des points Vitaux” in 2010.
