Sevilla In Line To Sign Sambi Lokonga From Arsenal

Sevilla have set their sights on Arsenal’s 24-year-old midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga as a key transfer target this summer.

Albert Sambi Lokonga, who spent last season on loan at Luton Town, has decided to depart Arsenal after discussions with the club.

Sevilla is reportedly interested in acquiring the Belgian’s services, with both loan and permanent transfer options being considered.

Currently in the final year of his contract with Arsenal, Albert Sambi Lokonga’s tenure could potentially be extended for another year.

Speaking to the BBC in May, Lokonga expressed his intention to leave Arsenal, stating, “For me, I had a discussion with Arsenal and the conclusion was the best thing for me was to leave the club, so now it’s up to my agent and the club to find something.”

Albert Sambi Lokonga impressed during his loan spell at Luton, garnering praise from notable figures such as former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
