Sevilla Football Club has officially announced the departure of veteran defender Sergio Ramos, who has left the club following the expiration of his one-year contract.

Sergio Ramos returned to Sevilla last summer after a stint with Paris Saint-Germain.
Sergio Ramos departure was announced by Selliva’s club President in a statement that reads: “Sergio Ramos has informed Sevilla FC that he will not stay next season after fulfiling his dream of returning to the club where he came through the academy.”

“Ramos made 37 appearances this season, scoring on seven occasions.”The Club wishes to thank Sergio for the commitment, leadership and dedication that he has demonstrated this season, and wishes him the best for future,” he added.
Further information from the statement indicates that Sergio Ramos will bid farewell on June 18 at 11:00 at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
Ramos’ departure from Sevilla marks the end of his short return to Sevilla, as both parties now look ahead to their respective futures in football.
