Samuel Eto’o, president of FECAFOOT, has announced plans to sue the Confederation of African Football (CAF) following a disciplinary hearing over alleged match-fixing accusations.

The Cameroonian football legend was summoned by CAF amidst claims that he manipulated match outcomes while serving as head of the Cameroonian Football Federation.
Besides these allegations, Samuel Eto’o faces charges of disseminating false information, issuing threats, inciting violence, and abusing authority, as per a damning report sent to FIFA.

According to reports, Eto’o appeared before a disciplinary panel last Wednesday, although CAF has yet to issue an official statement on the outcome.
Dissatisfied with the proceedings, Eto’o has expressed intent to seek justice through legal channels, asserting, “I have instructed my legal team to pursue a case against CAF to hold them accountable.”
