Music producer Samklef recently marked a significant milestone, celebrating the 13th anniversary of Wizkid’s debut album “Superstar.”

Reflecting on his journey, Samklef shared a poignant story of his humble beginnings and the challenges he faced along the way.
In a heartfelt social media post, Samklef recalled a time when he was homeless, spending nights on the floor of Mudina studio in Oregun.
Despite the hardships, he persevered, producing notable tracks like “Tease Me” and “Kilode.” His determination led him to collaborate on Wizkid’s early hits.
Samklef also opened up about a particularly difficult moment during a video shoot for “Noni,” where financial constraints led to public humiliation from the director.

This experience left him emotionally scarred, but he found solace with a friend, Rodney, and his supportive family.
As his career progressed and he began earning, Samklef rented a studio space in Imole, quietly enduring the challenges alone while producing hits such as “Don’t Dull.”
His dedication eventually paid off when he secured another office in Ogba, where he worked on the remaining tracks for “Superstar.”
As he commemorates Wizkid’s album anniversary, Samklef’s journey serves as inspiration for aspiring artists and producers, proving that with passion and perseverance, dreams can indeed come true.
