Salomón Rondón, a forward from Venezuela, has had an impressive career spanning several continents and some of Europe’s top leagues.

Born in 1989, Rondón began his journey at Aragua, a club in his home country. He then moved to Spain, where he played for UD Las Palmas and later joined Malaga.

Rondón’s next move took him to Russia, where he played for Rubin Kazan and Zenit St. Petersburg. With Zenit, he won the Russian Premier League title in 2015.

His career in England followed, with stints at West Bromwich Albion, Newcastle United, and Everton.

Although he was not always a regular starter, his strong physical presence and skill in the air made him an important player for these teams.

In 2024, Rondón joined Pachuca in Mexico’s Liga MX. He quickly became a key player, finishing the 2023/24 season as the team’s top scorer.
