Speaking candidly in an interview broadcasted on Joy997fm’s official Instagram page, Dominic recounted how these marketers, once regarded as the arbiters of Nollywood’s destiny, imposed a clandestine banishment upon her, effectively stalling her career trajectory.
Recalling the ordeal, Dominic lamented, “Before venturing into production and establishing our company, I was silently sidelined.” She elucidated that her divergence from the norm and quest for innovation earned her the ire of these industry gatekeepers, leading to her exclusion from mainstream projects.
“I was ostracized because I dared to tread a different path. It reached a juncture where engaging an actor’s services necessitated liaising with their management,” she explained.
