Netflix unveiled the exciting news during an International Women’s Day event, themed ‘Her Voice, Our Story,’ held on Wednesday, March 6. This celebration honoured the remarkable contributions of leading female filmmakers, producers, directors, and actors within the Nigerian film community. Dorothy Ghettuba, Netflix’s Director of Content in Sub-Saharan Africa, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with these industry powerhouses to showcase authentic stories that celebrate culture and heritage.

“Baby Farm” joins a distinguished lineup of female-led projects poised to make waves on the streaming platform. Among these eagerly anticipated releases are “Òlòtūré: The Journey,” a gripping film by Mo Abudu herself; “Postcards,” a compelling TV series by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja; “House of Ga’a,” an intriguing film by Bolanle Austen-Peters; and “To Kill a Monkey,” a captivating TV series by the talented Kemi Adetiba.

While an official release date for “Baby Farm” remains undisclosed, anticipation continues to build as audiences eagerly await the unveiling of this latest addition to Netflix’s diverse and engaging content library.
