Rhys Hoskins was carted off the field after going down with a non-contact injury during Wednesday’s spring training game against the Detroit Tigers.

Rhys Hoskins had surgery over the offseason to repair the meniscus in his right knee. In the said March 23 spring training game, Hoskins backtracked a short-hop ground ball from Austin Meadows.

Rhys Hoskins then fell to the ground with a non-contact injury. The Phillies announced that Rhys Hoskins had suffered a left knee injury.

Rhys Hoskins made his professional debut in 2014 with the Class A Short Season Williamsport Crosscutters of the New York–Penn League.
