In an interview on Hitz FM, Rev. Amankwah dismissed the prophet’s assertion, questioning his credibility and knowledge of the Bible.
“I have listened to him once or twice, and I must say he doesn’t even understand the basics of the Bible. He lacks knowledge of the Bible, so how can such a person be the second Jesus?” Rev. Amankwah stated.
Expressing concern over the influence of such teachings, Rev. Amankwah warned of the dangers posed by false prophets who lead people astray under the guise of religion.
“These charlatans are causing a lot of harm to Christendom and they have a large following,” he remarked.

Quoting scripture, Rev. Amankwah emphasized the importance of biblical knowledge in discerning true teachings from false ones. “The Bible says, ‘For lack of knowledge, my people perish,’ so many people are going to perish because of their desire for false teachings. He claims to be the second Jesus? It’s ridiculous,” Rev. Amankwah added.
In conclusion, the gospel singer urged Christians to deepen their understanding of the Bible to safeguard themselves against misleading doctrines and false prophets.
Rev. Bernard Amankwah’s remarks underscore a growing concern within the Christian community regarding the rise of individuals making audacious claims under the banner of Christianity, prompting calls for discernment and biblical literacy among believers.
