Earlier this week, reports emerged claiming that PSG had shown a strong interest in 16-year-old Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal as an option to replace Kylian Mbappe.

It was initially suggested that the French giants had made contact with the 16-year-old’s agent, Jorge Mendes, to explore the possibility of a transfer.
Furthermore, it was even reported that the Ligue 1 champions had offered a mammoth €250 million fee for Lamine Yamal.

However, PSG sources have stated that “it is not true”. They assure that the club have never presented an offer of €250 million for the transfer of Lamine Yamal.
No one from the French club has sat down to negotiate with Deco or with Jorge Mendes, the player’s agent. It is claimed that PSG were surprised and annoyed after the news about their alleged offer for Yamal spread.
Barcelona are not worried about Lamine Yamal’s future as he has a release clause of €1 billion.
