The Duke of Sussex will be present at the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8, according to a spokesperson for the Invictus Games.
This service commemorates the 10th anniversary of the games, which aim to support and honor injured members of the armed forces.
The announcement ended days of speculation about Harry’s attendance. The official statement, posted on social media, highlighted the significance of the event in changing and saving lives over the past decade.

It mentioned Prince Harry’s participation alongside actor Damian Lewis and members of the Invictus Community from around the world.
However, there was no mention of Meghan Markle’s presence at the event.
This event falls just two days after Harry’s son Archie turns five, adding to the significance of his visit.
The Invictus Games, initiated by Prince Harry in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence, debuted in London in September 2014, showcasing the resilience and determination of injured service personnel.
