In a statement released by the Princely House, the family shared the somber news with the principality and the world: “The Princely House regrets to announce that H.S.H. Prince Constantin von und zu Liechtenstein passed away unexpectedly on 5 December 2023.”
His wife, Princess Marie of Liechtenstein, née Countess Kálnoky of Kőröspatak, and their children, Prince Moritz, Princess Georgina, and Prince Benedikt, now grapple with the void left by his departure. The family’s grief is shared by the entire nation, mourning the loss of a beloved prince.

In this capacity, he worked towards the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
