A widespread power outage has left large areas of Manhattan’s Upper West Side and Harlem in darkness early Friday.
Con Edison crews are en route to the scenes, utility spokesman Philip O’Brien told The Post, adding that the cause of the outage is still unknown.
According to Con Ed’s website, 55,611 customers have still been without electricity across the city since earlier this week.
O’Brien said the outage is also affecting the Upper East Side and Central Park.
