Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, faces criticism following comments about songs on Shallipopi’s new album, as it caused his track “Tony Montana” to drop from the 1st to the 10th position.

This development occurred after Shallipopi released his second studio album titled “Shakespopi,” which comprises nine music tracks.
Portable, whose collaboration with the British singer Skepta had held the number one spot for weeks on the ‘Apple Music Top 100: Nigeria chart,’ finds himself overtaken by all nine tracks on Shallipopi’s album.

In response to the decline, Portable accused his junior colleague of artificially boosting his position on music charts through the practice of farming streams, which involves artificially increasing streaming numbers.
“Oh boy, make you rest; man pass man o. Before you could remove my song, you had to drop an album. Your song does not have meaning, is that a song? Can’t you praise God? Can’t you sing good? I am the landlord and I am still going back to number one,” Portable said.
