Polly Jordan is the wife of James Daniel Jordan (Jim Jordan), an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Ohio’s 4th congressional district since 2007.

Polly and Jim began dating when they were very young; Jim was 13 and Polly, 14 which implies that Polly is a year older than him.
Polly was introduced to Jim by her brothers, with whom Jim competed in wrestling.

The pair share four children and two grandchildren and live near Urbana in central Champaign County.
Polly is a retired teacher. She taught art at an Ohio public school and also taught at the Graham Local School District in Saint Paris.
Her husband Jim, on the other hand, is a founding member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, serving as its first chair from 2015 to 2017, and as its vice chair since 2017.
Jim was the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee from 2019 to 2020. He vacated that position to become the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee.
Jim is also a close ally of former president Donald Trump.
