Peter  Werner is the father of three children. They are James Werner, Lillie Werner and Katherine Werner.

There isn’t much information about Werner’s children on the internet as they loved to keep their lives away from the spotlight.

In 1977, Werner won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film for directing the short In The Region of Ice. Since then, he worked primarily directing television amusing a number of television film credits namely, Mama Flora’s Family, Two Mothers for Zachary and others.

His television series credits include Ghost Whisperer, Medium, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, A Different World and others.
