Peter Anthony Morgan, the lead vocalist of the beloved reggae group Morgan Heritage, has sadly passed away at the age of 46.

His family confirmed the news on Sunday, February 25, 2024, via a statement on social media, where they also asked for privacy during this difficult time and expressed appreciation for the outpouring of support.
Known by his stage moniker “Peetah,” Morgan co-founded Morgan Heritage alongside his siblings. The band, celebrated for their heartfelt reggae tunes and uplifting lyrics, garnered global recognition, clinching a Grammy Award in 2016.
