Peter “Peetah” Morgan, the lead vocalist of the beloved reggae ensemble Morgan Heritage, is survived by his two daughters, Destiny and Journey, born to him by Pashon Minott, the daughter of the late reggae sensation Sugar Minott.

Peetah passed away on February 25, 2024. He, along with his four siblings, formed the iconic band back in 1994, inheriting a legacy of music from their father, the reggae luminary Denroy Morgan.
Peetah’s musical journey transcended genres, embracing reggae, metal, pop, jazz, and hip-hop. He catapulted to global stardom with Morgan Heritage, clinching a Grammy Award in 2016 for their stellar album “Strictly Roots.”
