Reacting to the announcement on the KISS FM Breakfast Show, Wicks shared his excitement and apprehension: “Dancing live in front of the nation every Saturday? Absolutely terrifying. But anyone who knows me knows I love a challenge and trying new things, so I’m genuinely looking forward to getting stuck in.”

Strictly Come Dancing is a BBC Studios Entertainment Production for BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

The show is commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC, with Sarah James as the Executive Producer, Nicola Fitzgerald and Jack Gledhill as Series Editors, and Ciara Murray and Joe Turner as Series Producers.
