Paul Sewald an American professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB) is the father of a beautiful daughter Chloe who was born in August 2021.

Paul Sewald was drafted by the Mets in the tenth round of the 2012 amateur draft. He was 26 when he first reached Triple-A in 2016, and he made his big league debut with the Mets the following season, going 0-6 with a 4.55 ERA in 57 games.

He made his MLB debut on April 8, 2017, against the Miami Marlins at Citi Field, giving up two runs in a third of an inning. On April 13, he was optioned back to Las Vegas and recalled on May 1.
He spent the remainder of 2017 with the Mets after being recalled on May 1. He went 0-6 with a 4.55 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP in 57 relief appearances for New York.
On January 7, 2021, Sewald signed a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners organization. In 2021, Sewald went 10-3 with a 3.06 ERA in 62 games and 64.2 innings, striking out 104 batters.
