Speaking at a recent event in Lagos, Ozokwor emphasized that many actors neglect their health due to their intense dedication to their work.
“When you are deeply engrossed in something you love, you tend to neglect your health. As long as there is life in you, you keep pushing yourself. But this lifestyle eventually takes its toll on your body,” she explained.
Ozokwor criticized the tendency of actors to rely on over-the-counter medications instead of seeking proper medical attention. She described this practice as “alarming and unsafe.”

Reflecting on her grief at the funeral of the late actor John Okafor, known as Mr. Ibu, Ozokwor shared, “When I approached his lifeless body and called out to him using his familiar name, and he didn’t respond, it hit me hard. That’s when I realized he was truly gone.”
She urged her colleagues to prioritize regular medical check-ups and avoid habits that could endanger their health.
Ozokwor also shared her spiritual journey, revealing how a transformative experience in 2016 led her to a deeper level of service.
“I used to teach in church, but God called me to a higher purpose,” she said. After this period of change, she began receiving invitations to share her testimony at Christian events, marking the start of her journey as an evangelist.
