Pat Sajak

Patrick Leonard Sajak popularly known as Pat Sajak is an American TV personality and game show host. He is best known as the host of Wheel of Fortune. He was born on October 26, 1946, to Joyce Helen and Leonard Anthony Sajak.

Sajak graduated from Farragut High School in 1964 and then proceeded to Columbia College, Chicago while working as a desk clerk at the Palmer House hotel.

In 1968, Sajak joined the US army where he was deployed to Vietnam. Over there, he served as the US army disc Jockey on Armed Forces Radio. The radio station’s sister station, WSM TV brought Sajak on the screen where he worked as a voiceover artist. In 1977, KNBC -TV spotted Sajak and appointed him as the weatherman for the station.

After he was appointed the weatherman, he hosted many shows including Wheel of Fortune, Press for Your Luck and many others.

Pat Sajak then married Lesly Brown on December 31, 1989. Through this marriage, they were blessed with two children, Patrick Micheal James Sajak and Maggie Marie Sajak.
