Emeka Rollas, the national president, announced on Instagram that they will hold a four-day fasting and prayer session starting from May 2nd, 2024. This initiative aims to prevent further tragedies in the Nigerian film industry.
Pastor Jerry Eze, renowned for his leadership at Streams of Joy International Church, will guide the prayers.
Rollas stressed the importance of these prayers, especially in light of recent deaths like that of Junior Pope in a boat accident and Mr. Ibu after battling illness.

Rollas expressed the urgency, stating, “Actors cannot continue to die like chickens.” He called upon all members of Nollywood and supporters worldwide to join in this spiritual endeavor to reclaim their “airways and highways” from negative influences.
The AGN’s decision reflects a community coming together in solidarity to address the challenges facing them. By seeking divine intervention, they hope to prevent future tragedies and protect the well-being of their members.
