This development comes in addition to the existing 17 counts he is already facing, which stem from allegations of establishing a company called Talent Discovery Limited (TDL) to unlawfully obtain public contracts.
The President referred the case to the OSP for prosecution after these allegations surfaced. A statement on the OSP’s official website confirmed that as of April 17, 2024, Adjei is confronted with these new charges, specifically relating to the misuse of public office for personal gain and manipulating procurement processes to secure contracts.
