Didier Drogba scored one of the most memorable goals in Champions League History on this day (October, 18) in 2006 against F.C Barcelona.
It was a goal reminiscent of the ability of the Ivorian marksman.
He received a pass from Ashley Cole close to the Barcelona penalty area, took a touch to turn and take the ball away from Carlos Puyol and fired in a thunderous strike which Victor Valdes could do nothing about.

#OnThisDay in 2006, Didier Drogba scored the most Didier Drogba of goals against Barcelona. Back to his man, ball into feet, the "see ya" flick to send Puyol packing, the "fuck off" blasted finish that gave Valdes no chance. Class. pic.twitter.com/NdRPDZzI9w
