One person has been remanded over the robbery incident that took place in the residence of the late former vice president’s wife called Matilda Yaaba Amissah Arthur.

The person who has been remanded is allegedly a businessman who is known as Yahuza Osumanu.
Yahuza Osumanu was brought before the Accra High Court for allegedly planning and committing the robbery incident in the residents of a number of high profile personalities in Ghana.
Yahuza Osumanu’s latest accusation was the robbery incident that took place at late vice president Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur’s wife’s residence.

According to reports, Yahuza Osumanu hit Matilda Yaaba Amissah Arthur’s head with a gun and went away with monies amounting to ₵28,000, £50, and $2,200.
Additional reports revealed that Yahuza Osumanu has robbed several high profiled personalities in the same manner and has stolen huge sums of monies and other belongings like phones and cars from the victims.
Yahuza Osumanu has been hit with 26 counts of robbery and money laundering and he went ahead to plead not guilty to the charges.
The court has remanded Yahuza Osumanu in the prison as he is set to reappear before the Accra High Court in May.
