One ARTMA Official Shot In Anambra By Gunmen

One official of the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) has been shot in Awka, Anambra.

This shooting comes at the time where a series of shooting have been rampant at different parts of the Anambra State.

Moreover, Nigeria as a country has seen several shooting incidents within the past month and these activities are affecting the stability in some places in the country.

The death of the official of the Anambra Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) in Anambra, Nigeria, was confirmed by another staff of ARTMA.

The statement reads: “The man who was killed is an ARTMA official. He stopped some people who were driving a Toyota Sienna vehicle with tinted glasses, and the people shot him and drove off. It happened just close to me as I was boarding a vehicle this morning to go to Nnewi.”

More information regarding the ARTMA staff that has been shot by the unknown gunmen are yet to be made known to the public.
