Omotola, shared this advice while speaking in a recent interview with BBC Yoruba, saying that, she was already a millionaire when she got married at age 18.

According to her, she was prepared and already had her own money and was not dependent on any man when she got married at 18 years as she had been working since she was 15 so she was already a millionaire.

She said, therefore anyone who thinks because she got married early they can also do it should think to themselves if they are financially prepared.

One must apply common sense in everything one does. People cannot say because I married at 18 they can also do it. The question is are you ready?” she quizzed.

When I was 18 I was ready. I had been working since I was 15 years old and I had become a millionaire at the age of 18. That is a fact many people don’t know“, she claimed.

She, therefore, urged women to make sure they are financially stable before they enter into marriage if not, they will become slaves or prisioners in the union.
