Despite facing health issues and being hospitalized the night before, Nyantakyi still managed to participate in the voting process.
The outcome, with Nyantakyi finishing fifth on the ballot, was unexpected.
Lawyer Kwabena Boateng, the 2nd Deputy Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ejisu Constituency, emerged as the clear winner with 393 votes, surpassing his closest rival, Helena Mensah.
The complete results of the primary show Boateng in the lead with 393 votes, followed by Helena Mensah with 302 votes, and Yaa Akyawmaa Aboagye with 209 votes.

Nyantakyi’s disappointing performance signals a shift in the political landscape, as he failed to garner significant support.
Despite the outcome, Nyantakyi’s participation in the election highlights the democratic process at work, where individuals exercise their right to vote and compete for political positions.
The results reflect the choices made by the constituents of Ejisu and indicate the preferences of the electorate in the region.
