Nigerians Throw Shade at EFCC for Arresting Cubana Chief Priest as Video of Obi Cuban Spraying Dollars Pops Up

Nigerians have mocked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after a video of Obi Cubana spraying dollars popped up. Recall that Nigerian celebrity bartender Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chiefpriest, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on allegations of naira mutilation.

Online users have been able to unearth old videos of celebrities, such as Obi Cubaba, making money rain in public. In a widely shared video, Obi Cubana was seen dousing a wedding ceremony in money.

Many of his followers were relieved to learn that the well-known businessman, who also happens to be a former partner of Cubana Chiefpriest, only sprayed dollars at gatherings instead of naira.

Cubana Chiefpriest will be charged before Justice Kehinde Ogundare with three charges of naira misuse for allegedly spraying and tampering with the nation’s currency at a social gathering, violating the Central Bank Act of 2007.
