Nigerians Reacts After Ghanaian Actress, Akuapem Poloo Was Jailed For Sharing Nude Photo Online

Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo, has been handed a 90 days jail sentence by the Accra Circuit Court over naked pictures with her son.

Her sentence comes after she was posted a naked picture with her son on Instagram to celebrate her 7th birthday. Announcing the judgement, Christian Cann expressed her displeasure with the increasing rate of nudity in the media space in the country.

She mentioned that it is necessary for the court to sanction people to let people know that such acts on social media are not right. She also stated that Akuapem Poloo is being sanctioned to serve as a deterrent to other people.

Reacting to this, some Nigerians applauded the Ghanaian judge for taking actions against the actress for her misconduct, others also mentioned that the sanctions were harsh and the judge need to reconsider as she is a single mother.
