Social media has become one of the most powerful tools in the 21st century and celebrities are harnessing its power to increase their fan base and do a lot more.

There’s more; the worth of celebrities is also affected by the number of followers they have on various social media platforms which include; Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Simply put, the number of followers a celebrity has to a very large extent, determines the popularity of the said personality.
However, it is not all celebrities who spend a lot of time interacting with their fans on social media. Let’s take a look at the Nigerian celebrities whom despite their busy schedules, take some time off to interact with their fans via Twitter;
1. Kate Henshaw

She’s affectionately known as Auntie Kate and spends a lot of time interacting with her fans. She holds her fans in very high esteem and takes time to reply almost every comment a fan passes about her on social media. She’s mostly active on Twitter and has 811.6K followers.
2. Don Jazzy

He has 5.6 million followers on Twitter and joined the microblogging platform in July 2009. He’s also very interactive with his fans and somehow, finds a way to make light of the ‘dirtiest of comments’ fans pass about him. You’re his favorite if you’re able to put him and his crush, Rihanna in the same photo!

3. Mr. Eazi

He joined Twitter in February 2011 and has 2.2 million followers. He interacts with his fans a lot and the highlight was when a fan ‘warned’ him not to use Temi Otedola’s Lamborginhi for a music video. Mr. Eazi cheekily replied that he had already booked the car for his next music video.
4. Yul Edochie

He joined Twitter in April 2010 and has 548.8 K followers. He is also very interactive and often comes to the aid of those who tweet at him.

He joined Twitter in November 2010 and has 8.4 million followers. Though he is very interactive, he doesn’t spare fans who try to mock him. He is also very helpful and comes to the aid of people whom he feels are genuinely in need.
