The revival of these cargo flights is expected to facilitate direct air freight services between Saudi Arabia and the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) in Kano, Nigeria. This move is anticipated to significantly enhance the efficiency of goods transportation, thereby fostering increased trade activities between the two nations.
Minister Keyamo highlighted the strategic importance of this initiative, noting that it aligns with broader efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s aviation sector and expand its international trade links. The re-establishment of cargo flights is seen as a crucial step towards improving economic ties and creating new opportunities for businesses in both countries.
