Nigerian music star Rema has just released his second album ‘HEIS’, showing he’s still on the rise worldwide. Interestingly, Nigeria is only the 8th top country streaming his music in the past month.

After Rema’s new album came out on July 11, 2024, Spotify shared some facts about his music over the last year. His songs have been added to over 28 million playlists and saved to libraries 24.3 million times.

More women than men have been listening to Rema lately. In the past 28 days, 52% of his listeners were female and 44% were male. Most of his fans are young adults, with 26% aged 23-27 and 25% aged 28-34.

Rema’s music is popular all over the world. In the last month, he was streamed most in the United States and Mexico. Nigeria, his home country, was only 8th on the list.

His most popular song in the past year was ‘Calm Down’ with Selena Gomez. Other top songs included ‘BUBALU’, ‘Soweto’, and ‘BENIN BOY’.
