Who Is Nicola Sturgeon?
Nicola Sturgeon is a Scottish politician and the First Minister of Scotland.
Born on July 19, 1970, in Ayrshire, Sturgeon has led the Scottish National Party (SNP) since 2014 and the first woman to sit in that office.

Sturgeon has been a member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) since 1999, as well as the member for Glasgow Southside since 2007.

Sturgeon is a graduate of the University of Glasgow, where she bagged her law degree. She then had a brief experience working in Glasgow as a solicitor.
She has served as shadow minister for education, health, and justice. She is still noted for waving prescription charges and taking proactive steps during swine flu pandemic.
Sturgeon, resides in the Bute House, which serves as her official residence, located within the Charlotte Square in Edinburgh.
The Bute House contains the cabinet room, offices, conference, reception, sitting rooms, dinning rooms and a smaller office used by the First Minister.
The building which was designed by Robert Adam several decades ago, was constructed with sandstone and is about 5,658.0 square ft.
