Nico Harrison is the son of Steve and Christie Harrison and holds a special place as the fourth child in a family of five siblings.

His upbringing was enriched by the presence of his parents, who instilled in him essential life lessons and values that would later serve as the foundation for his success.

One significant event in Nico Harrison’s childhood was his parents’ divorce when he was just five years old. This pivotal moment in his life led to a unique upbringing, as he split his time between Washington and Oregon.

As a child, Nico Harrison displayed a passion for sports, engaging in both American football and basketball. However, it was in ninth grade that he made a pivotal decision to focus solely on basketball.

This choice would set him on a trajectory towards a successful career in the sport. Harrison played collegiate basketball for both the United States Army Black Knights and the Montana State Bobcats.

Harrison played professional basketball for five years, with stops in Belgium, Japan, the Continental Basketball Association, and Lebanon.
