Nicholas Fortes is an American professional baseball catcher for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021.

He began his professional career in 2018 by splitting the season between the GCL Marlins, the Batavia Muckdogs, and the Greensboro Grasshoppers, hitting a combined .226/.346/.258 with no home runs and 11 RBIs.
On September 17, 2021, Fortes’ contract was selected to the active roster. He made his MLB debut the next day and finished the season with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs in 14 games.
